Title: Supervisor

Required Experience: Two years related experience

Degree Type/Area: Bachelor's degree in social services or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Description:
The CARE residential program is a small 14-year old program serving 18 young men ages 10 - 18 in two homes. Our strength is our structured, nurturing environment which accepts and treats a variety of children. Our goal is to teach the young men the skills they need to live in a less restrictive setting, ideally a family home. This program makes a difference in kids' lives, primarily due to the commitment/dedication of the staff working with them. This position provides leadership for all aspects of the homes, ensuring all systems are working well via scheduling and supervision of staff members, monitoring paperwork completion, working closely with the therapist and other members of management. On-call support of home required.
The ideal candidate is someone with a background in residential treatment experience who has supervised others. Position requires a high degree of energy, organizational skills, strong work ethic and ability to balance details with "big picture" work. Must be a team player. Ability to understand and relate to diverse populations. Ability to communicate with others assertively and professionally.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Provides support and supervision to staff.
- Maintains relationships with youth in home.
- Manages day-to-day operations of home.
- Develops program further (Our goal is excellence in care).
- Provides on-call support of staff.
- Represents clients, staff and management professionally.
