Title: Youth Care Worker – CARE Day School

Degree Type/Area: Bachelor's degree required.

Description:

This position supports the day treatment school by working with students one-on-one in three classrooms to help facilitate classes. Support classrooms via task completion as assigned by the program manager. Must have an appreciation for challenging, diverse work and have the ability to see positives despite challenges. Must have a sincere desire to make a difference in the lives of children.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Directs intervention with special education students ages 10-18.
  • Provides mental health and behavioral intervention.
  • Supports three classrooms by direct intervention.
  • Completes tasks assigned by program manager.
  • Teaches social/emotional behavioral skills.
