Our Curriculum
Pickus Infant/Toddler Center utilizes a unique learnby-
doing approach that allows children to explore and
understand the world. We also offer The Creative Curriculum® that caters to each child’s individual needs.
Services are provided in our state-licensed facility by
dedicated child care professionals who are passionate
about preparing children for lifelong learning.
Our child development centers utilize The Creative Curriculum®, which allows children to choose to play and learn in the following interest areas:
• Blocks
• Dramatic play
• Toys and games
• Art
• Library
• Discovery
• Sand and water
• Music and movement
• Cooking
• Outdoors
Ages
Child care is available for children ages
6 weeks – 3 years.
Tuition & Fees
The Pickus Center uses a sliding scale based on income
and family size. Subsidized tuition is available to qualifying
families. Contact the center for more details on
tuition and fees.
Pickus Infant/Toddler Center is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children & family Services and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for
Families and Children. Pickus Infant/Toddler Center is one of six child development centers operated by Kids Hope United.
