Kids Hope United is a private, human service organization dedicated to protecting children and strengthening families. We offer a diverse array of prevention, intervention and community-based programs, serving more than 15,000 children and families nationwide every year.

Our Curriculum
Through active involvement with their environment, children learn to understand the world. This learn-by-doing approach is at the heart of Bridgeport Child Development Center. Our goal is to provide an environment that will enhance growth and development during these important years.
Our child development centers utilize The Creative Curriculum®, which allows children to choose to play and learn in the following interest areas:
• Blocks
• Dramatic play
• Toys and games
• Art
• Library
• Discovery
• Sand and water
• Music and movement
• Cooking
• Outdoors
Ages
• Child care is available for children ages
2 ½ through 5 years. Before- and after-school care is available for children in kindergarten through age 11.
• Pre-Kindergarten and Head Start programs are available
for qualifying children and families.
Tuition & Fees
Bridgeport Child Development Center uses a sliding fee scale based on income and family size. Subsidized tuition is available to qualifying
families through the Illinois Department of Human Services. Contact the center for more details on tuition and fees.
NOTE: Enrollment priority is given to children who will be 4 years old by Sept. 1. Kids Hope United will provide transportation assistance upon request.
The center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children. It is licensed by the city of Chicago and the Illinois Department of Children &
Family Services.
